Refund policy

You have 14 days from receiving your order to withdraw from the purchase, for any reason and without having to give one.

For a return to be accepted, the item must be unused, in the same condition in which you received it and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Cost of returning an item

If you return the product because you have changed your mind, collection carries a cost of €59 payable by the customer, which is deducted from the amount refunded.

If the product arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, collection is free and you are charged nothing.

How to start a return

Write to us at contact@metropole.es. Once the return has been accepted we arrange collection from your home through our carrier, CBL Logística: we will tell you the collection date and all you need to do is have the item correctly packaged. You do not have to send the parcel yourself or travel to a carrier's depot.

Items returned without a return having been requested in advance will not be accepted.

Delivery

Delivery is free for bathtubs and shower trays, with delivery to the door of your home within 3-5 working days in mainland Spain and 5-8 working days in Portugal. Exception: delivery of a bathtub to mainland Portugal costs €39 per order, VAT included. Delivery is made to the door of your home, with a usual lead time of 3 to 5 working days in mainland Spain and 5 to 8 days in Portugal.

Damage and problems

Check your order as soon as you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is faulty or damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can assess the problem and put it right. In these cases collection and either replacement or refund are free of charge to you.

After the 14 days

Once the 14-day period has passed, returns on the grounds of withdrawal — that is, a change of mind — are no longer accepted.

This does not affect your statutory rights: you keep the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery against any lack of conformity or defect in the product, under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 as amended by Law 4/2022.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return has been accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds

We will let you know as soon as we have received and checked your return, and confirm whether the refund has been approved. If it is approved, the refund is issued automatically to your original payment method within 14 days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may need some additional time to process and post it.

On returns made on the grounds of withdrawal, the €59 collection charge is deducted from the refund.

Right of withdrawal in the European Union

If the goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without having to give one, on the terms described above.
