What is the METROPOLE extended warranty

The extended warranty is a voluntary, paid commercial guarantee contracted alongside your bathtub or shower tray, which extends, for the additional years you purchase, the cover against manufacturing and material defects on your METROPOLE product.

This warranty does not replace your legal rights

This commercial guarantee does not affect the consumer's legal rights. Whether or not you purchase it, you are entitled, at no cost, to the 3-year statutory guarantee of conformity from delivery provided for in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. The extension only adds years on top of that period: it never replaces, reduces or conditions it.

Prices include VAT. The additional period starts to count once the third year from delivery ends.

What is covered

Manufacturing and material defects that prevent normal use of the product.
Loss of watertightness, cracks or delamination of the acrylic not attributable to use.
Defects in the components supplied with the product, such as the drainage system.
Collection of the defective product and delivery of the replacement product, at no cost.

What is not covered

Damage from incorrect installation or installation carried out by unqualified personnel.
Knocks, scratches, burns and any accidental or cosmetic damage occurring after delivery.
Damage from abrasive cleaning products, solvents or concentrated bleach.
Normal wear, limescale and changes in gloss resulting from use.
Commercial or intensive use other than the intended domestic use.
Taps and accessories not supplied by METROPOLE.

Territorial scope

Coverage applies in mainland Spain, France, Italy and Portugal, at the delivery address of the original order. It does not apply if the product is moved outside these territories.

How to make a claim

Write to contact@metropole.es stating the order number and a description of the defect.
Attach photographs of the defect and, if possible, of the installed product.
We will respond within a maximum of 5 working days. If replacement applies, we will arrange collection from your home at no cost.

You do not need to register the extension to make a claim: coverage is active from the moment of purchase. The registration email you receive is used to provide you with the certificate on a durable medium.

Right of withdrawal

As this is a distance purchase, you have 14 calendar days from the date of contracting to withdraw from the extended warranty and obtain a full refund, by writing to contact@metropole.es.
